One of the few things I like about going to work at 5:30 AM is watching the sun rise as I head east toward Little Rock.
In Texas, the pasture low lying areas are a little foggy sometimes and it looks pretty cool.
But Tuesday just east of Texarkana it was a bit foggy for about 130 miles.
This was going over the Red River.

I would ask how you folks in SW Florida are handling our "Cold front" BUT some of these

I miss my stick and the clutch I only used from the first stop.
These autos search for gears and leave me stranded in intersections.
As well the rare occasion I have to back a trailer on a door, as I feather the pedal it finally catches the gear and slams into the dock plate..

Mom suffered her 3rd stroke last Saturday. This one will finally send her to a home. Now the arguing with the siblings on best course of action begins.

 

Sorry to hear this man. We've been dealing with family crap with the FIL and it prompted us to push our other parents to make arrangements while still healthy and in good frame of mind.
Hope you can get through all this with as little pain as possible. Hope your mom is doing better

 

I've been pushing for a plan for awhile. My sister and brother have been pushing it back. They think there's still a chance at some sort of inheritance, so have been fighting putting mom somewhere she is watched over. Its reached the point I'm so indifferent, I've stopped offering any suggestions

Really sorry to hear this news. I'll never understand how siblings fight over family money. It's so petty after everything parents do to raise us. Like loosing parents and putting them in a home isn't bad enough.
