Only for Texas chili. Apparently they only want chilis and meat for theirs?

 

Kootenai and Moyie is home for me…and the Yaak too. Spent summers on Kootenai Lake in BC, spring fishing Kokanee on KooCanUsa, and fall fishing trout on the Moyie with a lot of perch and bass on Spar, Savage, and Bull Lakes.

What??? There’s always beans in chili. And chili isn’t soup or stew, it’s chili. Everyone knows that.

 

The debate will be eternal I'm sure, but if it's not Texas Chili, then it's likely to have beans.

 

chili has beans. When it does not have beans they call it “beanless chili” or “hotdog chili”

I use beans from time to time but you rarely ever see beans allowed in chili cook offs. Rarely
