Add me to the list of an avid fishermen who hates the taste of fish. I think it stems from a badly prepped and cooked Tuna that left me pretty sick, that plus the worms.

Soft plastics that mimic frogs and small baitfish do well on pike.

 

Do you use like a Ribbit style frog lure for pike?

Ha! Yep.

 

Yeah, they work. Biggest downfall with soft plastics is the pike's teeth chew em up real quick.

 

Still need to do the no bananas slap. Working on that one.
