If you cut a bear skull in half (nose to back of head) you can see how freaking thick the bears skull is and good luck penetrating that thing but possible with the larger loads.

There is a catch however, to use a smaller caliber to expect a kill the shot can be anywhere at the nose area and penetrate the brain and game over. But, have you ever seen a charging bear? Not like an Emu where the head does not move just the body, their head is constantly up and down. Good luck with that shot and hopefully you are armed with an auto loader

Lol. Think all that post offered was insight to my dark humor and impatience for idiots. Darwin for President stuff.

So we're under a rainfall warning, could get 2" in the next 24 hours (settle down @Fotnot ). It's alot of rain but we're not talking catatrophic amounts. This happens a couple times a year

The company I work for is putting out site wide notices telling people how to handle a rainstorm. Things like slow down on the road, use your wipers, wear rain gear if working outside.

As someone who is still pretty new to the office environment and has spent the majority of his working life in the elements and working with people who have done the same, I'm both confused and fascinated that people need to be reminded or told to adapt to changing weather.

    1) never be surprised how dumb people can be
    2) your company now has a document showing they told their folks how to act so now they are covered if someone tries to take action against them for not informing them that wet roads can be slippery and they were driving on them for work.

Every year we get notices for winter about icy conditions and to "walk like a penguin" out there. 100% it's just a liability coverage thing like @RobertD said. I promise you that some leech would try to sue saying "they didn't tell me water was wet!"

The liability thing makes sense...I guess...but it shouldn't. What kind of twerp goes after a company because it's raining?

The same kind that go dump vegetable oil in the aisle of wal-mart and then walk around the corner to come back down the aisle and "slip" in the spill.
