I don't usually, really never, bootleg music. But there's an album my wife discovered that you can only get on Spotify. I don't have nor want Spotify. I want a CD for the house and my ipod for the truck. I found a site with a you tube to mp3 converter. Ad free, the guy asks for coffee donations to cover costs. I've downloaded 12 of the 42 songs so far without a problem. I think it would violate the CoC to post the site, but if you want a link send me a PM.

 

Back in the day I had a Philips cd recorder hooked up to the family computer (pre widespread computer cd burner days). Computer audio output went into the recorders input. It was 1x so you listened to the entire album as you recorded it. Had to start the track recording and then hit play on Winamp instantly. Definitely an intense moment as Cd-r’s back then were like $3 a pop.

What a time to be alive though. While making them you felt like a DJ, pirate, and nerd all at the same time.

It really whipped the lamas ass!
