I’ve had so many projects (like the airport) where they have a representative from every department that has to be there and rattle their gums. They have nothing else to do but sit in meetings. I hated it. Sitting there and knowing I’ve got crews all over that might be making a mistake, cause I’m not checking…

Typical WA weather. Was sunny until went for a walk on the beach. Then the wind and rain arrived. Came back to a campsite of wet chairs and gear!

 

I grew up drinking these and honestly I just can't anymore. Not that they are bad or anything.

My go to session drink all day beer (and you can't drink all day if you don't start first thing in the morning) is Miller Lite. And I'm not saying this just to make Beavis happy.

 

I’m never that far. Just slammed with that live/work balance. I’ll get back to production once I get this last release out the door.

Was away at an offsite conference in Greenville South Carolina last week for one of our vendors. One afternoon they treated us to some racing at the BMW Driving Experience next to their plant in Spartanburg. I got to drive an XM, Z4, M3, M4, M5, and M340 Performance models. Anti-skid nannies were on for all but one race, but no throttle inhibitors; and they encouraged spirited driving.








And they had something for two wheel enthusiasts, too...





I won one of the races, one called a 'Rat Race', and got a trophy...




Someone at the conference said 'The funnest car to drive is someone else's BMW'. I'm not the biggest BMW fan, but they're fun cars, and it was a fun time.
