    Because I drink bourbon and scotch, which don't need to be chilled.

    I like the Yeti gear boxes, but I have a hard time paying $300 - $400 for a simple plastic box, robust as it is. A Plano trunk does the job for me at a fraction of the price. I also don't have anything expensive enough to warrant a Yeti gear box or Pelican case level of protection.

    My next bow will probably go in a Pelican Air case though.

    For food. Unlike beer, whiskey isn't a meal in a bottle. I require sustenance.

    Also, dead animals.

    True story;
    I used to work at a small Affiliated Foods store (some of you will know what that is) from 1980 to 1986.
    It was a small neighborhood full grocery store that made most of its money from cashing payroll checks.
    A crotchety old man and his son owned it, his son ran the full meat market (steaks, ground beef, lunchmeat, and cheese) and also processed deer when in season.

    Anyway, the son Don, was an avid functional alcoholic (not judging, I may have learned from him).
    When he wanted to lose weight, he would drink ONLY can Budweiser and scotch for days at a time and NO food.
    Literally, walk around the store helping customers with a can of Bud in his hand and a burning cigarette hanging out of his mouth..
    It did work because when he got to his desired weight, he would start eating again.
    AH, the good old days...:cheers:

    Side story;
    Don would take the waste from the ends of lunchmeat loaves (grind them up in the grinder) with a little bit of precooked brisket and make chopped BBQ.
    We used to sell the shit out of chopped BBQ and hot link sandwiches for $1 each during the lunch run.

    What a flashback that just popped into my head.
    Just got home from work, time to shower and have a couple beers myself..

    Just did a count of my remaining beers. I accidentally drank 17 last night. Went to bed at 2:30. Awake at 7:30. Getting old sucks.

    That's usually what happens. Hence why I don't drink on work nights. 1 always turns into 20. Always.

    Borrowed my son’s Orca cooler during a recent move. Transferred a freezer full of food and about 4 hours later got the food transferred into another freezer. Everything was still frozen solid. Great cooler, but DAMN! They are pricey!

    Do you drink them fast enough to still be cold at the last sip? I see warm beer written all over those things.
