Bananas are fine, in cereal, on sandwiches, plain. But only on dry land.

 

Even in smoothies.

 

Bear can be greasy unless it’s a spring bear. We usually just made sausages and hams out of bear.

Moose is really lean, and very dry. Steaks have to kept on the rare side or they turn out like leather. Burger has to be cut with fat (we always used pork) or it will just crumble.

 

Opossum is pretty damn greasy too.

 

Good to know. Just in case. I don’t know what the case might be but I’ll file it away

 

Not sure how one goes about deciding to find that out, but good bit of info to store away for the apocalypse

I would at least supplement the fake name with an obscure and cheap hotel room, paid for with cash or a stolen credit card.

I mean, it's the Navy. Don't ask, don't tell and all that. What y'all did with bananas on your ship is between you, the captain and the mess steward (which I assume is where that particular title came from...).

Seems for every critter, there’s someone that wants to hunt them. At least he’s eating them - something I was ingrained with very young (don’t kill it unless you intend to eat it).
