    A great explanation!
I know your tougher because of the southwest, and I’m jealous and proud of what you have going on now and the abundance of life around you.

Couple clips from the kids club ball tournament tonight. Team went 2-0 and into the champions bracket tomorrow where they’ll face the #6 team in the country for the division above them.
    :benchpress:

My son is the catcher and has been playing on the same team with this kid pitching to him since they were 4 years-old.

We will spend a day or two at Apache Lake and you’ll be right back in love with the “lush” Sonoran Desert.

Just another shout out to our family here because it is just awesome. Casey was in Fort Worth and had some time on his hands so he called me out for still not having my Boost mirrors installed (jk but I've been asking him questions about wiring and general install for way longer than is acceptable since I hadn't gotten the mirrors on) and offered to help! I was just amazed. Holden was going to be involved with the install and when he and I went biking last week, he suggested that there would be no harm and it actually made more sense, to wire the bumper lightbar and switch controller I had in my garage.
So with 3 of us we knocked out a few mods in 6 hours that would have taken me more than 2 days and the magical electrical guru definitely made the wiring safer and cleaner than what I could have done! I also figured since the bumper would be off that I could add a color matched piece of steel in the winch opening (winch may happen in the future, but for now this makes the bumper look better). Lightbar has amber backlight (I need pics of things on ) which looks good and the mirrors have an amber "running light" but it will only be on when the headlights are and I liked that, but the blinker is amber and matches the amber in the headlight.

All that to say, I pulled up to find both @RainMan_PNW and @Squatting Pigeon in ToyoMafia apparel. Which was great since I was in it too :D the Pige was in a sweet looking TM zip up, Casey was in one of the dad hats, and I was wearing the sunset hat

    :fistbump:

My son is jealous. He wishes he could play ball year round. Right now we are pushed to cages and training facilities until at least April. At least we drive by Nick Ahmed’s house(new mansion) on the way to motivate him.

I can spend about half as much at the grocery store as my wife does and get more actual food for meals so I don't have to go back again in 2 days.

    That goes without saying.

Yeah, you need to shop smart now when 3 bags of groceries is damn near $500. Gotta get a second mortgage to gas up the truck on the way home.

I know you weren't asking me but last week was my first time visiting the Southwest and I was surprised by the beauty once you get outside Vegas. Valley of Fire State Park was awesome and so was the drive down hwy 167 from the Dam.

I'm still not sure that I want to live in the desert and I'm pretty sure Vegas is going to run out of water but I definitely want to see more of Arizona. We got like 55" of rain last year so it would be a huge adjustment.

I need reliable satellite internet so I could work from the road and make it to T2S...

I went to sahuaro high. Way east. It was a new school the year I was a freshman so we’re the first class to graduate from there that attended all 4 years, if I am remembering correctly.

That's where I went too. Fast forward many years and we live in the same general area so my son was set to go there also, but by that time TUSD had open enrollment and he decided to go to Sabino.

Funny thing is, We didn’t live anywhere near it. We lived out near River rd and Sabino canyon. River road was still dirt, and there were ranches out there. Subdivisions were just starting to get surveys. Sometimes the bus rides were over an hour getting to the primary schools!

We receive our "Breakfast box" 4 times a year from these Folks

They were at a Farmers Market in FT. Myers a few years back and Con purchased a share and we've been eating well ever since..

Kids fought hard today but came up short. They came out swinging putting up 2 runs in the top of the first and held a lead into the third. Wheels came off a bit and they gave up 7 in one inning. Couldn’t recover and ended up losing 9-4. Our kids were the only ones to not get mercy ruled against the championship team.
Big bonus for the kids - our coach won a World Series with the Giants in 2014 and remains close friends with Brandon Crawford so Brandon came out today to root on our kids. Signed a ball for I think every kid.
