Unlike freakin' papaya. I was on a TDY in Honduras and stopped by some dude on the road selling fruit. I bought this huge Papaya thinking it was going to be amazing. I got it back to our little hut on base, cut it open, and it smelled like a gigantic turd. Passion Fruit wouldn't ever smell like a turd. Freakin' Papaya.

That was over 20 years ago and I'm still bummed out about it.

That sounds terrible. So sorry that happened to you. Believe it or not I have never had papaya. So look at it this way, you saved me and possibly countless others from experiencing what you did 20 years ago. Hope that helps you sleep better tonight. You’re the man!!

I’ve had good papaya, and I’ve been given some really nasty papaya. The good stuff is really tasty, though I’d take fresh ripe mango and guava over it any day

 

Think that’s my favorite slap so far.
