Routine oil change and inspection last Saturday. My guy informed me the water pump was seeping a little bit.

Called the dreaded dealership… still within warranty. Replaced entire water pump assembly/seal/coolant and a hose that was damaged during removal.

Annoyed, but glad it was covered. Cost me an Uber after work to pick it up, and a few beers for my buddy who dropped me off.

    End rant.

Another thing, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that you folks that feel a need for all that tomato bashing must be compensating for some childhood problems.:rofl::rofl:

    They were fed grocery-store tomatoes.
    I get it.
    So was I.
    I HATED them.
    I got past it.
(it helps my wife works on an organic vegetable farm and those 'maters are fucking amazing)

I know! And I made a very tactful and polite attempt to get that point across, but they’re still at it. Kinda like a wack-a-mole machine!

Sometimes you gotta have an open mind. Challenge what you've always thought to be the truth. Be willing to have your own interpretation of the world shattered. Try something different. Just because it might "look" the same as what you've seen before, doesn't mean that it really is the same. Be willing to pick through the barrel and actually save the good apples.

Hmm, even though it's still too early here I might have to go mow the neighbor's lawn so I establish dominance before he gets any bright ideas. Sneaky bugger likes to help me out and bring me unsolicited beer...

I am getting so close to firing up the A/C in the house for the first time this year. When I went to bed last night, it was 77 in the house.

Went to the thermostat and then remembered that I have many months ahead to spend a stupid amount of money on my electric bill and should not be such a pussy, instead opened a window and cranked up a fan in the bedroom. Today, however, is tempting me once again.

On a related note, I'm picking up a new swamp cooler to replace the rusted one on my garage next week. Having it installed Wed.

During the summer I set it at 75. Any lower would probably result in a monthly bill equal to me buying a new 2022 Platinum Tundra...............with no money down.

Well, as usual, it turns out that my input/thoughts on the matter were not required.

I just walked in from the garage to hear the AC blowing. Wife decided it was time.
