    Sun tea is my favorite!!!!
Not sure if you get enough sun to make such tea, but man o man it’s good! I’ll see if I can either jar up some tea, or sun, and send it your way!

Sun Tea is delicious! Mid summer if there is a good day we can make some. But it takes most of the day, and I have to keep moving it to the warm spots.
    Down there it’s much faster.

    At work I have a rotation……..
One glass jar on the roof, and one pitcher in the fridge. I’ll kill most of the pitcher thru the day, and if I remember, I’ll pour the roof jar in the pitcher before we leave, and then start a new roof jar in the morning when it’s 100 already

It amazes me that in 2022 people still get their weather predictions from a fuzzy burrowing critter.

@TRDFerguson Good for you if it was your decision. Future plans? Unless it's too personal of course.

I quit my last job in October without a plan after three bad days and two sleepless nights. And two horrible years.
I woke up on a Saturday and told my wife I was giving my two weeks notice on Monday. She was somewhat concerned.

I tried to retire, but insurance and especially social security are not your friends if you're under 70. So I called a friend who I've worked with since the 90s and who used to work for me. I asked if he had anything I could do. Instant response, "fuck yeah". So I took a voluntary pay cut of 33% and am loving life again. It also forced us to examine our finances and we've made changes that have us at the same standards of living despite the pay reduction. Plus I got a 6% raise after just two months:yay:.

I got really, REALLY lucky with an opportunity to work with a few of my old coworkers setting up a new security team at a large company. I wasn’t looking, as I was pretty happy at my old job, but things lined up perfectly and I was able to land it. It’s a better fit for what I’d like to do longer term, and a really nice bump in pay.

The game plan is for this to get us financially set to eventually get a lower paying, lower stress job when I need it. We’ll see how that goes, but my wife and I are stoked for now.

It’s buried deep in the nether regions of this thread, but I have dinner plate art from when I was 5, my son has added to the collection. Next time I eat, I’ll use one and snap a pic! Mine are pretty lame, but my artsy fartsy aunt would always make some sweet ones!
