Can rename it whatever you prefer.
Need to make some GF bread worthy (size-wise, at least) to house a grilled cheese sandwich.

There are a few out there - but I can't recall the one that I've had that was actually pretty good. You're right though - most are small and dense.

I think a @gosolo knife should be in the suggestion box at the bottom of this thread.

A good chefs knife not only makes cooking and food prep easier, it’ll also make it more fun!099628C1-FB98-46AC-B151-C06462E4876C.jpg83D5AB64-BB2F-4AF2-BEBD-EF7DE0AB2828.jpg21E81199-FC07-47C7-ADF1-7AEE402A1F5A.jpg

I’m thinking maybe a tip, now and then might be acceptable to throw in here.

I fix almost all our meals and sort of ad-lib a lot of stuff.

    Here’s a tip, I have found to be useful;
I like to pre-prep chopped fresh ginger and garlic, mixed together and frozen in small containers. I include 1 tblspoon of each, pour some olive oil on it and put a piece of plastic or butcher paper between layers, usually 4 or 5 layers per container. This makes the process of making a curry or stir-fry, really fast and easy.

I don’t do a good job of keeping them uniform but I’d say golf ball sized is about right. They don’t take anywhere near that long. Maybe 30-40 minutes. A lot of times I cook them along with other things like steak. I’ll put them on first, then after a while I’ll leave them on while I dial the heat up for the steaks so they’re cooking hotter for a bit.

I wish I could be more exact on the time, but I generally just check the IT after a bit.

I was thinking of adding one of my recipes but couldn't decide which one, maybe tacos or my world famous beef jerky. But then it came to me, why not the best one of all. Very simple, just 3 steps:

    1. Grab a cold beer, take a drink.
    2. Clear your throat.
    3. In a clear, somewhat loud manner, yell to the wife - "Hey, what's for dinner?"

    Pimiento Cheese
    Source: @Pudge

    2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
1 block of cream cheese 8oz
Half a cup of duke's mayo
3 or 4 green onions (scallions) chopped
One 4 oz jar of diced pimento (drain water)
    Salt and pepper
    A few dashes of Worcestershire
A little garlic powder, paprika, cayenne
I mix it with a electric beater, I add pimentos at the end so they don't get smashed up.
I add a half or full fresh diced jalapeno sometimes if everyone is okay with a little heat
Stick it in the fridge for at least an hour after you make it, it's even better the next day.
I like it on white bread or potato rolls
It's amazing on a bacon and egg sammie
Also whatever your favorite cracker is it's gooooood dippin

    Notes:
I go heavy on the paprika
Taste several times as you're adding the spices, start with a little and build to taste
I tried mixing with a blender, but all of the cheese ended up in the beaters, I use a fork
    Good on burgers too

Works for me. Like most smoked meats, ultimately I go off temp and you never really know when stuff will be done.....until it's done.

Thanks for the info! I'm sure these are going to be a hit.

They always are for me. One thing I didn’t mention is that you can use hot or mild sausage, or half and half depending on how much heat you want. I think the half and half is about right.
