tow mirror swap ????

I've got a 2019 Tundra SR5 CrewMax TRD Sport 4WD that came with regular mirrors, heated and have BSM, without turn signals in them. I see lots of post all over the web about conversions. What is the best option on this so that I can retain all of my factory features ?

 

Trail Ridge is the only option that I know of. I purchased mirrors though A1 auto and the install was easy. They are heated, power adjust, turn signal (even though original mirrors didn't include), and have bsm.

 

I believe that the part number is 1AMRP01768. I added them on to a '19 crewmax limited.

I went this route, since the factory tow mirrors lose the BSM. They even have smoke turn signals instead of the amber.

Nobody? I think I might give them a try. They look much better to me than the Toyota style tow mirrors and my stock mirrors have so many blind spots I constantly find myself almost merging into someone... I think half is the poor mirror and the other half is nobody can see my blinkers

 

They look great. Do you know if they have the bsm?

 

I can see what appears to be the BSM icon but no mention of it. My ‘18 doesn’t have it

 

Don’t put GM style tow mirrors on a tundra.

 

Hmm, I'd love to see these on a truck. I'm toying with what to swap for tow mirrors as the stock non-tow leave a bit to be desired. I'm concerned with vibration and slightly looks but these look better mirror-wise option as opposed to the OEM ones.

 

Not same brand/features but I found an old thread where i asked another user about his. They look really good IMO

Didn't buy those exact ones, but bought same style from ebay and than painted them black with toyota 202.

Painted because after about 1 year the abs plastic started fading...

They are much more usable then the toyota oem tow mirrors, convex bottom mirror, taller top mirror...spotlights

 

Nice! Yeah that’s one thing I hated about the OeM tow mirrors, not concave. Was it a bitch to wire?

 

Took some patience, and a few wiring diagrams from this wonderful forum. But it can be done

I'm a minor modification doer, is this something you guys think I can get my dealership to install? Even though they are not OEM's? Not something I've breached with them before. I've done my brake controller install and tonneau cover myself for my 2015 but mirrors seem above my paygrade.

 

If Toyota made a product that was even remotely comparable in looks and function I would have stuck with OEM. But the GM ones are significantly better in both aspects over Toyota.

I actually just bought some of these except they have BSM and power folding, which I specifically wanted. I would love to go OEM tow mirrors but they do not offer any that have all of the functions of the Platinum/1794 mirror capabilities, last I looked. The only downside to the ones I bought was that they have chrome covers. I ordered a set of Chevy matte black covers and I'm hoping to tackle this project soon.
