Torque specs needed for bed rails and tie downs

    This may be a dumb question but what if your torque wrench doesn’t have decimals lol. Can you just put it in between two of the whole numbers and assume you are at 66.5?

    My torque wrench has decimals, but it was made in this century..

    Half an inch-pound is really pretty meaningless on something like this. Heck so would half a foot-pound, or several foot-pounds. It's just not that critical.

    +1, in fact why even bother using a torque wrench on something like this? Just snug them up and be done with it.

    That was my thought. If they're just being used as tie downs for everyday things, I don't see the reason to try and get exactly the torque spec.
