Do the Eibach springs offer any additional weight capacity or is it just the slightly additional lift?

That is a good question. I don't see anything mentioned in the product description of the springs.

So I just found some 2021 Fox TRD Pro takeoffs on marketplace and am going to pick them up this evening.

For those running these, I wonder has anyone determined the upper limit for the rear lift for the TRD Pro Fox shocks, without overextending them? Seems many are getting away with 1-3" with no problems?

I have a 1.5" block in the rear and am planning to swap that for the Icon Add-A-Leaf + RAS soon.

How much did you find them for? I’m looking to replace my pro bilstein shocks since they are not rebuildable.

I could be wrong, but I think if you send in those Bilstein TRD Pro shocks to the Bilstein facility in Poway, California they will rebuild them. When I had a 2nd gen Tacoma in 2019, that is what Bilstein informed me. In 2019, they could service all TRD Pro shocks.

I put on the plus 3 CB shackles and the HD RAS on the lower setting and the shocks were not an issue.

Didn’t know that, but my tundra is my daily. I have a guy locally that has done my kings and fox before but won’t do the bilstein. I found one set for 1500 but needs to be serviced.

Thank you for your feedback. My truck won't do much offroad work anyhow, because I've got a 1st Gen Tacoma for that. Just wanted to be sure I wouldn't overextend the Fox shocks on the rear and cause the seals to fail and leak prematurely.

Great. I just ordered the Icon AAL that claims to lift the rear 1.5". I'll be using that to replace 1.5" blocks I have in the rear. And I'm hoping to still have 0.5"-1.0" of rake with the TRD PRO Fox shocks lifting the front ~1.9" (currently have 2" spacers up front that will be eliminated). I'll add Road Active Suspension to the rear after the AAL if the truck doesn't have adequate rake. Sounds like I'll have no problems overextending the rear TRD Pro Fox shocks

According to my local shock guy, you cannot rebuild the factory TRD pro Bilsteins. I found a few threads here with some guy in Arizona that did it, but my shock guy would not touch.

I will call Bilstein tomorrow to see if they will rebuild ! They would be sweet.

Any luck with Bilstein? I’m in the same boat with my 17 Pro Billys.

In this video, these guys claim Bilstein can rebuild the 6112's only at a Bilstein facility because they require some special machining tool. I think the 6112's & TRD Pro billys are very similar. If what these guys claim is true, that is lame.

I've used both the Fox TRD Pro's and Bilstein 6112/5160 for pretty long periods of time each.
The Fox are plusher in small chop and don't top out, even with a Coachbuilder Pro shim (1" lift) on top. On road the body roll is definitely there. According to the video, on the Taco version these run on the firmer side. I haven't found that to be the case on the Tundra.

With the Bilstein the body roll is gone, but lower speed plushness both off and on road isn't there. And I topped out a lot, but that could have been from running at the 2.5" setting, plus another shim on top, for a 3" lift total.

I didn't/haven't jumped with either, so I can't comment on that. Nor for for crazy high-speed whooped out sections.

But both are fairly similar on higher-speed rough roads. I give the nod to the Fox, though.

If I was buying both brand new at full retail price, I would not spend double the money for the Fox TRD Pro ($3k-ish) over the 6112/5160 ($1500 ish). I would just spend a little more and go with something higher end (8112/8100, Kings, ADS, Fox Race series, etc). But if you buy the Fox TRD Pro's used for cheap enough and rebuild them for around the same as the 6112/5160, then I feel they are a better choice.

However, if you are towing a lot, or adding a bunch of heavy bumpers, racks, campers, etc, you may find the Fox Pro's not so perfect for that. I absolutely noticed a difference when adding unbalanced weight.

    P.S. I had mine rebuilt by https://jtechmotorsport.com/
He told me he'd be happy to revalve them also if I wanted.

This seems like it turned into a general fox thread so I hope I’m not over stepping!

I just picked up a 20 TRD PRO with a dealer 748 leaf pack, camburg kinetic UCA’s and a C4 front bumper with a come up winch.

I have a set of Coachbuilder +2 shackles from my old truck that will go on. But what do you guys recommend to level the front? Will the Westcott kit do it?

I’m also thinking about swapping the C4 bumper for a CBI covert to cut back on weight. Thanks!!!

what did you have to do to make those methods fit? Those are +0 offset, right? Need a BMC? I’m trying to change out the BBS wheels for a method +0 offset wheel.
