I’m sure someone here did that and really liked it. I can’t remember who it was.

What are your thoughts on hard vs soft caps now? My needs have changed and I may be in the market for some sort of shell.

Still like my softtopper vs hard shell. Easy to take on/off and store. Negatives are no security and no chance for a rack on top. But still have better use for the convenience of the soft top.

Great. But I don’t have it on all the time so I’m sure that helps preserve it. But has held up thru strong winds, rain and now.

Ive had both. I loved the look on the shell on my DC along with the functionality of it.

I went with a folding cover in this newer one, because I love the roll down back window.

I’ve never had the need to remove either one as I have a trailer, so if usability or a load that is too large is something I encounter I just toss the hitch in and go.

Do either of you have the mesh screens on the front/back and if so, how are those holding up? Wanting to get this primarily for my dogs.

Mine had mesh screens. They are about as great a quality of a screen door. So anything can easily poke out of them.
