Have any of you had success strapping on in securely without having to use the rivet system? I'm taking a long road trip and exploring gear storage options and the tool box chest seems to be the biggest contender for size, depth. The decked isn't ideal as I want to store a battery system also and isn't deep enough. So all in all, I'm trying to avoid drilling in the bed. I know most things can be cut and maybe should just find some locking ratchet strap. Open to other storage ideas too!

I have the zdog too box/chest. It is ok. Stays under the bed rail system. Would fit under most toneu covers. Only thing I don't like is it's a solid box without a way to secure. I could drill holes and secure using bed bolts or adding a longer bolt in it's place but the chest is water tight so I don't want to drill. I am still trying to figure a way to secure using the rail system. If I could do that it would be perfect as it is my only complaint.

So you could get something like that and bolt in using bed bolts or get same diameter just longer to screw it securely to the bed. I am just trying to find another way without drilling into box as it is water tight so far.
