Did you go with the standard duty set or the heavy duty set?

Thanks your Tundra looks great also can't go wrong with white lol. Its been a work in progress not sure how much more I will do ...pro skid plate is going on next oil change hate dropping the existing one down to do a oil change and Auburn Pro Series Limited Slip Differential to be done in the spring this should have been the minimum set up on these trucks.
With 3/4" wheels the studs do bottom out on the wheel I machined a slight reseced hole about 1/16" in the pockets of the factory wheel.

Thanks very much for the information about the BORA wheel spacers - it is very helpful. Also, I'm not educated enough yet about the LSD on the Tundras. What are the benefits of the Auburn unit over OEM?

The LSD works off wheel speed sencers and applies brakes to lock wheels for traction when one starts to spin ... auburn unit is clutch pacs in the diff witch works way better. I haven't checked out if true/trac makes a limited slip diff for the tundra it would be a better option. We installed them on my sons Tacoma.
IMG_3335.jpg I can't go places my son can now that's he's change out the rear end.

Thanks for the info. Off topic but your truck is almost identical to mine. Did you add the TRD dual exhaust? I have a 295/70 R18 spare and I’m concerned the exhaust won’t clear?

I had to make a mod to the spare brackets to make it fit. I cut/drilled out the inner most rivets and installed a 1/4” washer and bolt to tilt each bracket back and allow for the 34” OD tire. If you have interference with your exhaust once you get your spare pls. Let me know. Many Thanks.

The guy I picked up the trd wheels from had a 35" spare tire on his tundra with dual exhaust he was running a 6 inch lift but don't think that would change much. Once I get mine done I will let you know. Thanks for the tip should make it easier for me.

Just as info., I used a side grinder to cutoff most of the rivets and then drilled out after-PITA!

Did someone say too much rake? :gossip:…… Finally got around to putting on a new set of Alcan leaf springs…. 800#’s over stock..2”of lift…1” shackles… (trying to get rid of the constant ass-sag and having to keep 20#’s of air in the bags even when the bed was empty…) The ride is better IMO… feels more planted and stable on acceleration… Feels like a truck… :notsure: I may have to adjust my front up a little….IDK.. We’ll see how it feels when i get everything loaded back in and the trailer hooked up…. Can you have too much rake :monocle:… Only thing that stands out to me is… NOW my 35’s look small … :annoyed:.. I’m thinking I can’t afford this truck…

I prefer the level look, but don’t think the rake looks bad. If you want to level out the front, I’ve enjoyed the Westcott Designs setup on my front (w/TRD pro fox suspension all around). I don’t regularly tow enough to sag out my rear, and it pulls my SxS and boat just fine without dropping the ass end.

Maybe if you go back to stock shackles you’ll be closer to the rake you want? Looks good to me as is though and it’s bound to settle some.

I stayed with Alcan shackles to be safe.. some folks on here have had issues with their springs making noise… they are close to in size to stock anyhow… I actually prefer the rake.. just maybe not that much…
PowerBrakes and 2stage rotors… not for the faint of heart:spending: awesome stopping and feel… not sure I recommend them though… limited pad availability kinda locks you into buying from distributor…$$$$

Makes sense-they look pretty cool poking through your black wheels. Glad they’re working well for you; appreciate the caution on recommendation

Painting them is always an option but a real PITA.
