Tonneau cover 2016 to 2009 - does it fit?

    2009 Tundra SR5 Double Cab 6-1/2 box
    Hello,
    My second post on the forum... loving the discussions here!
    I found a used soft roll tonneau cover off a 2016 w/ 6-1-2' box (Extang, it sits inside the box, not on top). Will it fit my 2009 with 6-1/2' box? Essentially, is the 3rd GEN and 2nd GEN box the same fit regarding Extang roll tonneau covers?

    Maybe. I sold one off a 2010 to someone with a 2015 and he got it to fit. The tailgate is different. A truck cap like ARE will not fit because of the tailgate. But most tonneau covers can be adjusted and moved to work and not leak.
