There is always the Graveyarder BS thread -> https://www.tundras.com/threads/graveyarders-bs-thread.12312/unread It has helped me on long slow nights. Makes the time go by.

The big thing to remember is that all it takes to quit is the desire to quit. If you want to, you will. You might slip up, you might have a bad day, but if the desire is there you will get it done. Don't view those days as setbacks. They are PROGRESS. You are moving in the right direction, and as long as you are making progress you will win this fight!

Good luck Sean. I wish you the best.

I could never quit smoking when I was a drinker. It was just too much of a trigger. I’ve been sober for 450 days now and I rarely ever crave a cigarette. Yes, I vape. But I’d rather be a vapor than a smoker.

Maybe one of the coolest threads on the forum. People making big positive changes in their own lives and inspiring others to do the same.

When I was training for college football during the off-season, it always helped to train with someone to help hold myself accountable. Not only should I follow through for myself, but others were counting on me as well.

Good luck to you. I dipped and chewed tobacco from the time I was 14-50 yealrs old. I quit last February. I miss it. My wife has smoked since she was 15. She quit for over a year and went back to smoking a couple months ago, I told her she’s a lifer, she will never quit she’s quit numerous times. I’m out of breath now, can’t imagine how it would be if I was a smoker

Your on it man, cant give it at all, it will just suck you back in, quit the tobacco going on 6 years now, don't even had the urge at bars or when drinking, I know if I had just one or a cigar it would all be over. Stick with it.

Do it and never go back !!! my wife of 30 years has been a respiratory therapist for 40 years working in a major hospital the whole time. If smokers don't get lung cancer and die, they die from other ailments from smoking! You can do it.I gave up hard ass alcohol abuse for years been sober 12 years. See medical attention and support groups doing anything to help you quit for good. HEALTH IS WEALTH !!!!!!

The one piece of advice I can offer having quit 9.5 years ago is don’t do it to save money. You’ll never be able to. Do it because you want to be better and feel better. The monetary is just a by product of quitting.

I use to hack up snot and all sorts of shit in the morning when smoking an don’t have that any more. Food will taste and smell better and you’re stuff won’t stink.

Best of luck to you and we are all here to support you thru it. It’s not easy.
    YOU CAN DO IT!
