As someone else pointed out now you know the house is for sale.

As a general rule people suck these days.

I see it daily at work, from adults and kids alike. Sometimes I need @4x4_Angel to pop in and do a little throat punching for me.

That place has changed some since I was a kid. We had a farm off om FM646 South closer to FM2004 than Hwy 6. It was still called Alta Loma, TX back then. I have friends that still live there, some areas are alot better than others. Good luck in your search.

Just got back from that area looking at a place. It is even growing all the way out there now. Hitchcock has water and sewer a fair distance from town now out past Blimp Base Road towards SF.

We use to have parties almost every weekend in the old barrack's and hangar at the blimp base. One of my classmate's dad leased the whole thing for cattle grazing. Good times... but somewhat "hazy" now. LOL This was when the guy who owned the NO Saints owned it. I haven't been out that way in ages, but I have no doubt it has changed dramatically.

My parents were pretty strict (and still are) but for the most part, I'd say as well as others say I'm a pretty good kid. I agree with what you said

I live in Harris county bud. I know what goes on here and what there is here. However, I believe you missed my point by a long shot. Simply because you saw nine youngins who you didn't like the look of in a prospective neighborhood of yours does not then equate to all youths being worthless, going to prison, doing crack, blah blah blah. There's still plenty of good kids out there, along with plenty of ones being led the wrong direction. There's paragons and dirt bags in every generation, including the ones prior to where we are now, and that's just a fact. You didn't like the house due to the neighbors? I totally get it, moved around a lot in Houston due to that, but I know some jaded fish story's when I see them, good luck on your house hunt.:hattip:

I don't disagree with you @CBrown , I wouldn't want my family treated that way either, nor would I do that to someone I didn't know. I was more trying to get across that there's plenty of good kids still around, and bad apples aren't unique to "the new generation". Not here to pick a fight, just throwing out my $.02, I'll leave y'all to it.

I get what you're saying man. You're not calling bullshit on his story, more just the sentiment that all kids are like this - which they aren't.
