a continuation from 3 weeks ago

    Permenate bridge went in

4 cavities I was not aware of filled
Cannot feel the top left side of my face up thru my nose lol

I got to keep the model of my jaw that the bridge came on. Pretty neat stuff to me anyway.

Because of the dentist to teeth ratio?

Bridge, missing tooth went awol in 2014 due to a failed root canal. At a check up 3 weeks ago the back molar was found to broke on the back side and needed a crown, I said well lets do a bridge, she was like oh yaaaaaaaa. LOL

I'm currently in the process of doing a full arch on the bottom. Since September. 12 teeth on 6 implants. The temporary denture sucks, when I'm done in about a month I'm going to be a total food slut.

    Can’t imagine a full arch

The temp for this one and the one in December were bad enough.

Oh yeah because $$$. But better choice I think. I asked because my dentist calls multiple teeth on implants a bridge.

It's my fault though. 10 or 15 years ago I got fed up with dentists. Stopped going thinking I brush and sometimes floss. Bad health care decision.

It's amazing what they can do today. Stuck a camera in my mouth and an hour later I had a new crown that fit first try.

    And faster.
    $1600 vs $5000 and 6 months

I choose the bridge since the anchor teeth were good at the roots and should not have any problems

20K for just the bottom. But I got a 10% discount because my SIL is a mechanic and my dentist needed his BMW fixed, gave him a referral.

I have to be the luckiest person in the world when it comes to my teeth. I’ve never had a cavity in my life. And that includes a span of over 40 years when I didn’t go to the dentist. Started going to a dentist again about a year ago. Have a little bit of a gum issue that can be fixed via some periodontal work. Both my dentist and periodontist are amazed.

Yeah and you're probably one of those who can eat whatever they want, as much as you want and can still wear the clothes you had in high school.

    That would be me.

I had bad genes though when it came with teeth (Thanks mom)

My one sister and brother have perfect teeth.
My mother and other sister and of course myself got the bad teeth gene I guess.

Throw money at it and you can get them back but getting there sucked

On a side note - no, I'm not a salesman, but this stuff is the sh*t.

I'm one of those guys who has had cavities no matter *WHAT* I did. Flossing, brushing, Waterpik, etc. Didn't make a difference.

About 3 years ago I got tired of seeing some toothpaste called Boka on FB ads. People were raving about it and I thought "Well....I guess I'll give it a try."

The next time I visited my dentist he frowned and went "Hmmm." Not usually a good thing. But he told me "Uh....for the first time EVER....you have no new cavities and the ones you do have are exactly the same as they were last time I saw you." :eek2:

That was 3 years ago. I've not had any work done on my teeth since then.

Anyways....HIGHLY recommend the stuff. It's not the cheapest ($10/tube that lasts like 2 months) but it's one hell of a lot cheaper than crowns or cavities getting filled.

Another good product that will keep me away from you and you away from me is Risewell toothpaste/mouthrinse. No Sodium Lauryl sulfates (in just about everything, but can be allergy triggers), fluoride, or other potentially toxic chemicals. "Strengthens" teeth with hydroxyapatite (what your tooth pulp makes) to include calcium & sodium ions where fluoride only contains fluoride ions (obviously). As with anything, moderation. Similarly priced to the above. I have no affiliation with the company or product(s) other than I think they're beneficial to your oral health, so I recommend them.
