Hi guys. Had a blow out with the stock tires that came on my Platinum today. I Have the TRD Pro Suspension and went very lightly 4 wheeling and 5 minutes in the tires were falling apart.

That is a chunk of one of the tires and i have another that is about to rip off. I ordered 3 different size sets of BFG 2K so I can test fit and get a good size. I could not find anyone that has upgraded their TRD Pro tires without adjusting the suspension. I get to ginny-pig it for everyone. Merry Christmas.. More to come.

Stock tires are cheap. Didn't think they were that cheap.

Light off-roading could mean vastly different meaning for different people. I don't think they expected too many platinum owners to take it off road.

Time to upgrade to better off road tires.

The largest tires on Pro without suspension modification seems to be 295/70/18. Personally I would go with 275/70/18 with the 2 inch Pro lift.

I will take a picture of the "light wheeling" trail and the exact place where it happened. You will be asking me why I was even in four wheel drive?

How many miles were on your tires before your "light wheeling"?

Took a walk on the trail that broke the back of the Bridgestone tire in first picture.

My truck came as a Platinum and I have added all the TRD Pro parts except skid plate and grill. The Bridgestones is what came on the Platinum.
