New to forum and love my Tundra's. Getting ready to buy my 4th Tundra since 2000. Buying a 2016 Crewmax with TRD off-road package. Want to replace stock tires with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 2 in LT285 65R 18 size. Stock size is P275 65R 18. Any problems with bumping up to the 285?

Welcome, shouldn't have any problem with that size tire.

Could even go to a 275/70/18 which is narrower but taller than the 285/65.

Use the search tool at the top right and you will find everything about our trucks that you need to know!

Welcome to the forum. I would go with 275/70/18. BFG AT KO2 in 275 is substantially cheaper than 285s. I once contacted BFG about this difference without satisfactory explanation. The only thing I could think of is that more trucks use 275s than 285s.
