Tint strip on top of windshield

I use NorthernTint.com and they have pre cut tint kits.

As an example a full
Kit for my Tundra Crew with front 5 % was $70 shipped. With a hour or so and a garage it’s pretty simple DIY . I would recommend a small steamer to help.

My Tundra is 5 % and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Had my ram 2500 diesel windshield tinted and will be having my entire tundra windshield tinted as well. I’m here in Houston Texas.

 

Safelite replaced my windshield with the one that has the tinted strip. I love it.

 

Always first upgrade. Same time as tint on fronts.

 

I had that strip on my previous truck, but was told it was illegal in my state (TN). In response, I had the entire windshield tinted in addition to the rest of the windows. Cab interior is so much cooler in the hot weather and it looks bad ass.

 

Hello all, had my new ‘21 Tundra tinted today and visor tint bubbled bad! Is it tint shop fault or it is what it is?

 

Post a pic of it. That will make it easier to tell what is going on.

 

it depends where in Jersey! Not all police departments enforce it.

It does help. . .but I prefer the whole windshield tinted. . .70 on mine. .

 

Ended up taking it off, didn’t look right, no pictures.
