I've been putting it off. I have replaced the fogs with bright white LEDs, have a single row light bar up top, but I need to fill the gap between not seeing and my back road lighting.
I am looking at the AlphaRex Luxx LED, AlphaRex Nova, or the Morimoto XB LED.
I'll push it back to black Friday to save a little $, but am trying to decide what is best. I have zero interest on the Sequoia headlights as the gaps are ugly IMO.
    So, which do you suggest?

I am a fan of Morimoto XB LED headlights. I put a set on my 2011, and I love them.

The XB's have really bright DRL's, available in either white or amber. (The DRL's dim a bit when the headlights are engaged). The XB's also include the leveling motors to provide that functionality if your Tundra is so equipped. The illumination over the stock incandescent lights is impressive.

Installation was easy. I followed this video and had no problems.
    https://youtu.be/kcxQssGld1o?si=J0s7vmVmBnc3vZgs

Adjusting them is fairly easy so long as you have an 8mm wrench and an 8mm socket.

I have had no issues with any ingress of moisture in the housings (so far).

The XB's are a bit pricey. I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing, and I looked at several different makes/models of headlights. I've been very pleased with my purchase so far.

(And those are the Morimoto XB LED foglights also).

I spent a lot of time looking at both the Morimotos and the AlphaRex headlights (all three Alpha models that fit gen 2.0 trucks). I have a 2008 also. The warranty was one of the things that pushed me to Morimotos. Five years on the XBs. Two years for the Alpha Luxx. There aren't any user replaceable bulbs in either headlight so if I was going to drop a bit of cash I wanted a good warranty.
THe Alpha Luxx are projector headlights where the Morimotos are a reflector setup, but the Morimotos have a great cutoff. Black Friday will be here soon which is when I bought mine last year (20% off direct from Morimoto). I went with the slightly more expensive amber DRLs. The DRLs are very bright.
Like Thumper_6119 says, the Morimotos come with height adjust motors built-in. Although that wasn't an option for our 2008s, it wasn't too hard to add the adjust feature since the Morimotos have the motor. I bought a cable/harness off Ebay and ran it to my cab and added the height adjust "switch". Works great.

You certainly have a waaaay higher budget $$ than I did Wich is good (options)
My 11 Crewmax had the OEM
motorized/leveling feature for towing duty but the surface in this Texas heat is hell on PVC lamp housings making them dull.
I saw some on Amazon for 98$ I've used before on my
Tacoma and they have lasted very well no moisture after 3 years... that and light distribution was also important to me being I installed some H11 LED Lamps for the Tundras housing. Aside from having elevation adjustment these came spot on out the box all the intensity shines down on the pavement about 10 to 15 yards or so with room to adjust as not to blind drivers or Johnny Law. With Morimoto on your mind I doubt you'll want these Poboy specials lol. But if you like I can post the lamp housing type for you.

I had considered using new OEM housings (I've had bad luck with ebay/Amazon cheap housings), but I decided I want the most light I can get. Figured I'd buy once and cry once. Having my employer cash out my PTO and using my last paycheck to do upgrades while I am going to be recovering from surgery next week.
I try not to drive in the dark as my eyes are getting progressively worse, but I tend to do a lot of late/early driving for work on back roads and FSRs.

Understood....I wish I knew how these higher end housings compare to Factory Toyota units ? It's hard but not impossible to imagine a sturdier unit ? They must be really good I see them all over the Tundra--Taco websites. Wonder what if any fading / moisture warranty they offer ?

I'd think they would be pretty good compared to OR housings. From what I have seen Morimoto appears pretty good at standing behind their product.

Another vote for the Morimoto. Have had them for 4.5 years and they absolutely slap and look great. Not cheap, but you're getting OEM level quality and performance imo.

I’ve been terribly disappointed with my Amazon specials. I was being cheap. I’ve seen
the two options. I’m sitting here waiting for Black Friday for Morimoto Ambers. I don’t
Want piss poor lighting anymore. Alpharex are projector style, doesn’t appeal to me. And
thanks for the guidance on the warranty. 5 is better than 2.

I'm going Morimoto XB with amber DRL. I kept looking at the options and Morimoto kept popping up as best option for me.

I have a 2013 Tundra. Do these LED lights require the 2-resistor set, one at each side of the truck to avoid turn signal hyper-blinking?

Could you send me any info on that cable harness to adjust the lights? My 2010 has manual windows, let alone not having
elec headlight adjustment. LOL. I'd try looking on ebay if I knew what I was looking for

The installation guide says this "IMPORTANT: If your vehicle is equipped with anything but OEM turn signals (full assemblies, LED bulbs, or otherwise) in the tail lights or elsewhere: You may experience a hyper flash and/or problem with the sequential signal setting on these headlights. This is not a defect in the headlight, and caused by un-matched impedance with your originalvehicle settings." Sounds like if you are stock everywhere else then you don't need to add resistors. I had been running LED front turn signals in my front lights before I got the Morimoto lights and had already modified my stock relay/flasher assembly to not hyper flash when using LED turn signals so I can't say for sure if the Morimotos need resistors.

That is a bummer. Not sure why they excluded the 2007-2013 XB headlights. Last year they did not.

Description of cable/harness off Ebay “HEADLIGHT LEVELING SWITCH WITH WIRE SOCKET for TOYOTA HILUX FORTUNER 2016” Seller was tfine16 and the price was $95 + $25 shipping. Shipped from Asia to the U.S. The adjuster/switch that goes in the cab is blue for that harness set off Ebay so I bought an OEM headlight level adjust controller with the correct orange/red lights off Ebay for $35 used. I made a video on it..... search in youtube for
"Add headlight height adjust function to 2nd Gen Tundra with Morimoto XBs"

Great, now I'm hooked. It sure is a bummer that 20% off doesn't apply to us. But now I'm stuck between white and amber DRL

Looks like you can apply $200 off coupon (almost 20% off) on Amazon for white ones. Weird part is that it's sold by Morimoto

    https://www.amazon.com/Morimoto-Headlights-2007-2013-Replacement-Performance/dp/B08XQ11TJT

Or if you don't mind waiting, Stage 3 Motorsports has 20% off on both. They're oos, but says usually ships in 30 days.

We don’t have them on the site currently, but I can help out the forum crew on these headlights. Just shoot me a message!

Can confirm availability to be mid-Dec before you’ll see any shipping.

You don’t have them on your site so no way to help me now. Mine have shipped. Amazon apparently won’t ship to Canada. Don’t know why, it’s the f’n Wild West here for headlights. Semi’s and Jeepers and full size rednecks run the northern highways with 52” light bars blazing. I met trucks with 4 -10” HID train lights up there.
Ironically I’d have bought the 3rd cab light and a couple of other things but now I won’t buy anything else from them.

    Thank you!
My Tundra's OM lights were replaced with LED all around, which in turn required the installation of two 50-Watt 6-Ohm relays at each side (left and right), just at the back by each taillight. I will probably modify the flasher and remove the 4 resistors, but it will have to wait until next summer.

What bumper cover is that with parking sensors? Is it aftermarket one, that's paint matched? Or Rock Warrior, or what?

@The Dude: Thanks, I love my Morimotos. Pics don't do them justice. They are super bright, remind me of a dragon's eyes or something. My truck came with the color matched front bumper as part of the "Limited" trim package. I'm currently preparing to change my grill souround to color match as well. The limited package came with sonar sensors front and back as well. I don't use them, as the beeping noise is annoying.

Well I figured I better be up front on what’s happened. Before Morimoto shipped the lights I received a refund. Converted to Can $$ and plus the 12%+8% tax and duties converted to Canadian was just not acceptable.
In frustration I wandered thru the interweb. As it turned out Morimoto has a couple of online retail outlets in Canada. Partsengine.ca had an actual BF sale as well. Converted it came out to only $85 more than direct conversion from buying direct at Morimoto. More important FREE shipping in Canada and no more taxes and duties piled on. So I actually saved a few hundred $ buying here.
