    I haven't watched it yet. Generally when the knuckle draggers at work laugh boisterously and shout quotes from a show across the shop, I become dubious about it. That said, I've been told it's a wild ride in American redneckery. For that reason I'm curious.

    As long as you stay quiet and under the radar, it's back to normal business ...

    From what I recall, even the lady was breeding some animals in captivity but not as much and also making lots of $ but she didn't threaten to kill anyone. Otherwise she would also be in jail. As far as her ex-husband, that's another story. lol

    If any, the government should make all organizations or zoos like these non-profit and everyone should be under a capped salary.

    anyway, what would be in season 2?
    I liked season 1 :D but can't see it continue ...

    Right now he has bigger fish to fry. He got some serious jail time, article says convictions for animal cruelty and then trying to have someone snuff out his nemesis in FL. There may be some fire along with the smoke.

    Other than that, I don’t have a big problem with his animal farm & showmanship.

    Now it says, he’s isolated due to Covid-19, likely has it. I think his career peaked a while back.

    I live in the south and I usually try to avoid redneck shit. I've seen it my entire life. So I'm right there with you. But this show was hilarious for us. It was a great distraction from all the madness. I told my wife I might actually watch it again.

    I saw the preview on Netflix and said "No way in hell I'm watching that"

    Watched the first episode a few days later after the wife said the meme's online were insane. Told myself after watching the first episode, I don't need to see anymore. Somehow we binged the remaining episodes the past two days. I'm fricken short on sleep right now b/c we stayed up so late last night.

    I have never said "WTF" that frequently, ever, for anything.

    IMO:
    • Joe is a predator. Of cats, people down on their luck and especially young men
    • Carol is the Queen of the Crazy Cat Lady Club. I think her previous husband took a pile of cash and is living in central America with a new family. The whole murder idea is stupid. He just figured out that hot blond he picked up on the roadside was nuts and ran.
    • The "Doc" guy is a cult leader.
    • All of them hide behind "Cat rescues" to scam people.

    And who the frak pays that kind of money to pet those animals? I'm still thinking about it and saying WTF...

    I considered this but quickly ruled it out. Before the internet I think one could disappear. This guy would have been found by now if he was living in central America. He already stands out down there being a white guy. Now with this face all over TV he would quickly be spotted.

    He told her that night he wanted a divorce and she either shot him or waited till he fell asleep and bashed his head in. Then she either buried him somewhere on that 40 acres or she fed him to the animals.
