    Good news, found a used one at the local yard for $75. I'm going to replace the Ujoints and carrier bearing. I might do the cardan joint on this one as I don't know the original mileage.

    The used driveshaft I got was loose like you said earlier. It had ever so slight bit of play and made a clunk when I moved it. I put the new carrier bearing on so I snuggled it up good.

    I wonder if you buy a double card an CV head from Dana Spicer and only use the ball section and joints if it will fit.
