I have a throttle Jody spacer I’m about to install on my 03’

The thing that sucks about it is that it’s a little smaller inlet diameter than the stock brittle body. And they put these fins in there I assume to make noise.

But to make it work right, I’m going to hog it out with a burr. Then drill it and tap it for the e85 nozzle that squirts massive amounts of fluid when under boost;)

But otherwise I wouldn’t use it since it wouldn’t do any good:)

So, you’re only using it for a sc setup?

Thanks, my current 17 cm is black, so the same color in a 19 pro would work well for me. If only I could afford a 19 pro and a new truck every two years :spending::D

True. I really love my truck. It would take a whole lot for me to even think about replacing it any time soon. Besides, my wife said that I am married to it, because I spent a few bucks on it. Wives just don’t get it, do they?

Hey, a '19 Pro is better bang for your buck than a throttle body spacer. :D

IF you wanted to go the extra mile you could just twincharge it...i wonder what that would sound like.

You’re fortunate! In my first wife’s defense, she does let me get what I want. But, only after she lets me know that she is the boss.

Twin charge is a concept that uses a supercharger for low end... and a turbocharger(s) for high end. Basically getting rid of the turbo lag by pulling right off the crank with the supercharger. I dunno if its feasible unless you have more money then .. then... i dunno... if you are rich. If only our hood scoops actually had a use.....

I would gladly pay you next year for a $5 bill and one zero, and zeros today. So that I could get the 19 pro. :D

Ok, thanks for the information. I have heard about the use of turbo/sc combo before. I wasn’t thinking about it at the time I asked you what it were. With the limited space under the hood of the Tundras, there would have to be a whole lot of modding and a whole lot of money spending to get that setup. Then, I would also be spending a whole lot of cash on speeding tickets. :D

That's a myth. Someone on TW has a 3.4L with over 500k miles that's been supercharged most of it's life.

That’s good to know. I may add the asC after I’ve had the truck a year or two. Thanks.
