Toyota uses a WS trans fluid, while back I did a lot of research and reading. IIRC Toyota states no ATF service until about 100k?

From what I recall reading, that's WAY overdue especially for those in warm climates and those who tow a lot.

    Opinions?

After this summer ill be around 35k on my 2014. I'm thinking of doing an ATF service end of this summer. Temps here in AZ sometimes get upwards of 120 with constant between 105-110.

Just out of curiosity ( I have to look myself for what I found years ago) what facts or documentation do you have that says that's way too early? Based off what criteria are you basing that off of?

Internet text is hard to read, not being rude just simply asking.

Interesting, when the wife gets home tonight I'll take a peek in the manual to see what it recommends.

There is a 30k mile trans service. All that is checked is viscosity, level, and solenoid function. The dealership did it for free and took a few minutes. Can't remember if I finished my cup of coffee before it was done.

60k as Law stated under certain conditions. At this time, a functional test is done again.

    90k- same as 30k service.

    120k- full transmission service.

Some dealership service departments recommend 120k miles under the "WS transmission fluid is some good stuff" bullshit.

I was at Lexus last week on an airbag recall and talked to the service adviser to make sure my car is up on all service needs. The 60k mile service was partially done (spark plugs...which are 175.00 for 6), the rear differential fluid was not done and he also recommended a trans service. I was shocked, and he popped off right away "I know, some Toyota/Lexus service writers don't recommend the service until over 100k miles. Of course I don't have to pay for your newly replaced transmission either at 101k miles when it is out of warranty. I recommend the service on career experience."

Good enough for me, and it backs up what a good friend that owned a transmission repair facility for over 40 years said as well.

LOL no, I'm due for a tranny oil change anyways.

I haven't had any problems so I'll most likely get them to do what they do. All good.
