I like mine. It looks good with the LED lights.

Interesting, you'd think that the ranch hand makes the ride safer.

I think on some trucks they look nice. But on most they don’t.

I’m a little late to the party, but I had Aries bull bar on my previous 2nd gen and it saved the front end twice during deer collisions. $380 saved me a $500 deductible twice. So worth it to me. Didn’t hurt the bull bar other than the sheet metal between the uprights. As far as aesthetics, definite personal preference.

I keep an eye out for that discontinued southeastern dealer version with the integrated step, mostly because I am short.

It didn't push the bar back into the truck when you hit them?

It did push the bar back, but not enough to come into contact with the grill or hood. Both impacts probably in the 25-30 mph range. I had one tiny dent that looked like hail damage on the driver’s side of the bumper. I think that was from a hoof.

Off topic slightly, but when I first got that truck, still had temp tags, a deer crossed four lanes of traffic in the city limits and ran into the driver’s side rear door. There are a lot of deer here, but that truck seemed to be a magnet.

    Too many, but not enough....
Ironman bumpers have and are designed around crumple zones to Australian standards. You can read about the spec on their site. I had the same concerns as you.
