With regards to the demo condition, mine was in very good condition. It had some dog hair in some hidden places but it was just driven.

Just for kicks I looked on Autotrader for Platinum or greater new trucks for sale in my area. Inventory has thinned out significantly from last tine I looked. < than 200 within 200 miles.

Maybe the model year turnover. But the smallest numbers I have seen since in a couple of years

Not sure every sales manager is going to treat their car and a car they will eventually sell and make money on like trash. That might be a stretch.

The only thing I would guarantee is that not every sales manager is going to treat their allocated car that way.

I asked the sales person about it. She said they have special devices that they run in the car to get the smell out of cars that were smoked in and then clean it.
If you think they are going to baby the car like its their own? Naaaaaaa

All things being considered.... If they are giving away a sizable discount, thats one thing. Otherwise a used vehicle is what it is.
Warranty, used. Tires used. Savings in the end?

The primary benefits of a demo vehicle, are the used car price but having it show as single owner vehicle on title as well as the protections afforded with a new car (lemon law etc).

I have purchased 2 demo vehicles and both were in good shape and more or less like new with a healthy discount. It's truly not in the best interest of the dealer to beat up a vehicle they have to eventually sell.

When I bought my demo, trucks where showing list prices 10-12k above what I paid. and even with the miles and 2023 in service date, I still have a good amount of factory warranty left. The savings were enough to get a tonneau cover, and the 10yr 125K platinum warranty without going over budget.

In the end, its all what your tolerance is. It is a used vehicle, but it has many new car perks. Just go into it eyes open.
