I am looking to upgrade my 2010 headlight housings. There is a lot of misinformation on these lights. I want the pro with sequential turn signals and AlphaRex told me yesterday that none of the pro have this option. Also they changed the low beam from h11 to h7 which means my $200 s-v4's will have to be sold and i will have to buy the h7 version to convert the halogen bulb that comes standard in the housing. Any Help ? I had a guy say that they just released a pro model of AlphaRex that has sequential turn signal and not just activation sequence.

After looking at their site, the DRL does a sequential scan when it first gets power. There is no mention of a sequential signal. On that note, if you read through their page, the descriptions are not even grammatically correct. Take that for what its worth to you. The Morimotos are a better product by far, and more popular throughout the automotive industry.

You are correct with the morimoto's, but then again who whats to pay $1,000 for sealed Housings that will last how long ? Morimoto does offer a 5 year warranty but as soon as a light goes out your down a vehicle until a replacement arrives. This is why i was looking at a pro series that i can change out bulbs. This is the problem with chineese engineering, they make what they think works but its not realistic to western countries needs.

Good point, which is why I learned to never get rid of the OEM parts.

If one headlight being burnt out is all it takes to have your vehicle grounded, I hope you have a backup vehicle lol

Depends on the laws where you live.

I saw a fella this morning get pulled over in an altima for a brake light that worked as a brake light, but filament was burnt out in the "running/parking light" portion.
