A Toyota Dealer buddy of mine sent me this photo today. Toyota of Alvin is trying to sell a TRD PRO Tundra with a 12" bulletproof lift, one pc rims, Toyo MT tires & amp research power steps for $97,151!! This price is absolutely absurd. But if they do sell it, they need to take a pic of the person who pays that ridiculous price. Maybe they should include some free lube with that sticker price. LolIMG_9024.jpgIMG_9025.jpg

The good thing about this ignorant stupidity is that the perceived value of Pro tundras is continuing to go up. At least it's good for those that bought one in the last 3 years. I'm sure the stupidity bubble will pop eventually, but meanwhile, if you have a Pro, ride the wave!

    So many WTFs.
Get charged a premium for off road worthy TRD Pro suspension just to have it taken off and then charged more of a premium on top of the premium for crap suspension.

Yep. Add in a couple of hours of labor (we'll say $120/shop rate per hour)

    So $1240

    That's like over a 76% increase

Same here! Just because someone is ignorant enough to pay that much doesn't mean they should be taken advantage of.

That is just stupid. There's got to be something the Better Business Bureau can do for that insane markup. $12k for 4 tires. I would love to see what a $3000 tire looks like that doesn't belong on a F1 car.

A grand for speedo recalibration? Get fawked.

They can always give someone a "Really Great Deal" and drop the price to $91,000. "Of course, this is a special deal is just for you since I really like you. Don't tell anyone else, they'll want the same deal and we can't afford to lose that much money."
