Ever park waaaaaay out and maybe even back into the spot, and you return to have a truck with a similar design parked beside you in the same manner?
What possess people to do this? Humor? It didn’t bother me. It’s just peculiar. Seems like Ford more than anything.

I’ve been plagued with parking far out and a random car finds me.. but this has to many facts in parallel to not think it’s a “forum phenomena”

    Any insight?
Wife noticed it too.. five times in the last few months. We just laugh.

It's just simply a d-bag noticing you're purposely parking away from everyone else, then acknowledging that by further being a d-bag and parking next to you.

I see it too. I park way out in the lot at the grocery, with no vehicles for 15 spaces in any direction. Then I come out and some dork is parked right next to me.

    Go figure.

I think when people park way out in BFE, it makes me laugh. Unless you have a 918 Spyder or Lambo....

I think it is humor and someone is clowning you. It’s a Tundra Brah, nothing more.

What if I do it because I'm fat and self aware, that I need to exercise more???

2 options on this. Either being a d..k or they have the same idea to stay away from people that don't care about anything and slam doors open. I always use the urinal code, Leave one spot between.

I hear you. I parked probably an additional 15-20 yards out. We do it with all our cars. I see S550s at $125-150k in the front littered with dings. I don’t get it.
If you can avoid damage however, why not though? If he or she wants the entertainment value, fair enough. They likely needed the exercise anyhow. Like I said, we laughed it off.

I have to get my 10,000 steps a day. Every parking lot helps. :)
