I think it's more along the lines that your original post despised everything overland related, but you're essentially asking for the functionality of overland products and complaining about the cost after buying one of the most expensive tundra trims.

In addition to rejecting or making fun of every option/suggestion, you also keep calling everyone a "bro" - saying things like "truck bros," "tatted-up bearded bros," your original post said "overlander bros," and "broham." When I hear people talk like this in real life I smile and chuckle.

As I said before, there are some great suggestions in this thread. Maybe take a step back, do a little less bro-ing of your own, read a bit, research a bit, and I'm sure you can find a great solution without spending too much money.

It's the exact same bed-system as the Tacoma and God knows you don't see many of them outfitted for car camping.

I think I know what your getting at here…
There isn’t a lot of stock functionality in the bed, that’s true.
Why Toyota doesn’t offer a lot of overlandish bed options is a good question…
They’re not dummy’s, must be cuz there’s not a great demand
I think most people here enjoy doing their own mods (I do), but it is a fair amount of work
If that’s not your cup of tea, I’d just factor into the cost having a shop get your truck to where you want it

You’ve got a nice truck as is

PS : A 5.5 ft bed sucks any way you cut it…I’d gladly sacrifice turn radius, whatever, for another foot in the bed , biggest limiting factor for my camping cuz I take everything and the kitchen sink
    :D

Gauley is one place I've still yet to experience. I'm not that old yet though. I will someday.

It's a beautiful part of the country, tons of incredible rivers in that area from mild to wild.
