Extremely active but only have 33 posts? That’s not even a little bit active.

I just asked the majority and they disagree.

I agree the post count rules are a little steep, but they are achievable with enough screen time. I'm just glad and also surprised the mods haven't morphed it into a pay to play situation.

My first pass on this I thought you were talking about mods to the truck. I thought, "well, they actually are pay to play lol"

Then I reread and realized what you actually meant.

I'll go back to finishing my coffee now.

A couple other sites I visit require 200 post minimum to put things up for sale. Or, you can pay a fee and move to the top of the list, and the more you pay the more often you can bump, highlight, and advertise your goods.

I don’t visit other people’s homes and complain when they ask me to take my shoes off at the door or to remove my hat at the dinner table. I was raised to appreciate being a guest in someone else’s house.

I didn’t find 50 quality posts all that difficult to navigate. I made some friends. Shared some stories. Enjoyed some good banter. Asked a lot of questions. Bookmarked a chit-ton of mods. Uploaded a few pictures.

    And OP -

Hang on, I gotta' go see how many posts I have, and if any of them are "quality" so I know whether or not I'm outraged about these rules... BRB

Where do you even find that?!

I'm now outraged, OUTRAGED that this personal information isn't readily available to me, and I would like the site to be immediately re-formatted to accommodate my technological inadequacies.

    This is the way.

I 3D printed this to hold my phone and paired it with a 1ft cable for CarPlay. Super clean and simple, plus it lets me keep OBDFusion running on the phone screen so I can monitor trans temps or whatever.

Yeah it needed a fair bit. I used a Stratasys F170, which has separate heads for the print material and support material. The support material dissolves in a bath post printing, so no picking it off and the finish is nice and smooth. Makes it super easy.

I’ve got an Ultimaker S3 with dual extrusion.
Did you run it as a single piece? I’d have probably split it up into several pieces and epoxied or superglued together after printing, even with the ability to dual print PVA or HIPS support

Have you been on any other forum? The rules here are pretty relaxed & the mods are very good. 50 posts to sell is nothing.

When I came over here from Tacomaworld, I was excited when I saw the same mods run this one too.

Now, Driveaccord for my wifes car on the other hand...woof. Not strict or anything, just not friendly people. Complete opposite of tundras.com

I have been on forums back to message boards, GUI boards like this since the late 90's ones I still frequent 2001. This has to be up there with the friendliest.

Yeah, single piece. The printer I have access to can handle parts up to 10"x10"x10".

I think splitting it into two parts would work well. Tray area as one and the base as another, that should require minimal support material.

That’s what I was thinking just from your screen shot. I know I can print a 10” cube, but damn if I want to wait that long!

of course, I modified the Scosche wireless charger tray thing that goes in that area so it will hold an apple magsafe charger and then tucked my wireless CarPlay adapter down inside the shifter area.

When Toyota updated to the 2.5 gen in 2014, the dedicated ashtray was deleted. My understanding has always been that 3rd cupholder (outside of only being useful for short cups) was specifically designed for the Toyota cupholder Ashtray / Coin holder accessory. https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/product/coin-holder-ashtray-cup-74101ae010

This appears to fit right in that spot and would allow you to add an ashtray for those who want / need one without losing one of the 2 main cupholders. Just my .02. :)
