I'd never buy a Ram/Fiat pickup myself, even if I needed a new diesel I'd go with a Duramax or Powerstroke. The only Dodge I would buy would be 5.9 Cummins. Why pay for bells and whistles when you can just add em to a Tundra and not have to finance em?

    BOOM!

Can't help with the bells and whistles to what the Tundra has but could always keep the reliability while still owning a Pro if you refinanced to meet your payment happiness. When the Tundra is paid off and if you keep your trucks for awhile, I'd feel more comfortable owning a high mileage Tundra over the Ram. If you really like the Ram, I'd do what makes you happy.

I've owned multiple Dodge trucks. Still own one, a Cummins TD, my work truck. I also own a '16 Pro and we have owned multiple Toyota cars that we kept into the 250,000 to 300,000+ k mileages. IMO, unless you're desperate to have the cheaper payments, or the additional options, of the Rebel... keep the Yota... Dodge can't compare over the longer term.

Okay, gonna buck the trend and say "get whatever the hell you want".

I have a 2014 Durango and a 2014 Tundra. The D has 2x the miles as the T. The D has had 1 leaky radiator. The T has had one leaky cam tower and 1 non-functioning stereo. Knock on wood, but the D has spent less time at the dealer/repair shop than the T.

I think in general, Toyotas will be more reliable than Dodge overall and over the long haul. But it is still the luck of the draw.

Ram's ride very nicely. Better than the Tundra. I drove one for 3 weeks while on business last year. But, I put money down for the Toyota, because I plan on running it for a long time. So I bet on the long term reliability. But if I were only keeping a truck for 4 years, then other trucks may be more attractive. Speaking of attractive, which is in the eye of the beholder, Rams are fugly. Purely subjective though.

I say "get the rebel". But keep the Tundra so you have something to drive when the Ram is in the shop. Seriously, get what you want but if you go Ram, I predict you'll be back. And, 41K is way too low for your Pro. Tell 'em you need at least $50K, they don't make 'em anymore.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
Ehh, I cannot agree with that sentiment. I mean a certain degree of comfort and features are nice to have but they do add 'extra things' to break. I think this holds true to any product, regardless of what it is.

As for sex comparison, I just cannot see it. :D

    Great point!

The ram’s equity will be shit compared to the Toyota. Aftermarket parts will be much more limited for the ram but if you will be happy, go for it bud

Neither truck shows up with a locker from the factory. I'm not a big fan of the air springs replacing coilovers. The Tundra has a bigger rear axle (10.5" vs 9.25") and the various interior features aren't that important to me. If I was to get a Ram truck I would get the Power Wagon.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
I agree with looking into forums first.

I have a lot of contractors that have brand new Rams and there always at the dealer getting fixed. Maybe that's why their cheaper than Toyota?

    Just saying!

    Bingo.

I'm curious though, what does a Pro not have that a Rebel does?

I'm going to have to research this a bit.
