We were victims of the "felony lane gang" and it flipped our world upside down. 12k dollars in bad checks after it was all said and done. Google them and learn about it. Impacts mostly women (mommies) but men get hit too.

Whats sad is that around here there is very little action from the pd. Most ppl you see pulled over may have an expired inspection sticker at best.

These asphucks run around 99% of the time in vehicles that have windows including windshields that are fully blacked out and nobody pulls them over despite it being illegal. Sure some ppl may actually have these so called light sensitivities but i always have to wonder if thats the case, how do they function outside of their vehicle? Are all their house windows tinted? Do they walk around like stevie wonder all day with shades on?

Off to take a deep breathe :annoyed:

I feel like it depends on the flea market/seller you are purchasing from. I know a lot of people who buy and sell wholesale textiles like shirts, socks, sweats, and hats. A lot of times they will sell extra or older inventory at flea markets and its all purchased through legitimate means. Again, it depends on the seller and also the flea market itself, I have one locally that was always very reputable. Many honest sellers, some selling vegetables, home-made crafts, etc, of course there are some that seem less than credible but those are the ones that most people stay away from. My Father and I used to get fresh produce from several sellers that we personally knew. I feel like most people probably know when something is to good to be true.

A lot of times at the shop I run we have those guys with the rubbermaid containers full of bluetooth headsets, or wireless speakers coming by selling them at a "promo" price. I immidiately tell them to get off the property and that we are not interested. Someone actually called the cops on one of them last week and got him arrested. Every once in a while we have guys stop by with a truck bed full of "clearance" tools that they need to get rid of but you probably already know what the deal is. I always think to myself I wouldn't want someone doing that with my product or with my tools. Have absolutely no respect for a thief nor for people that knowingly support them by buying the stuff they sell on the cheap.

After working at Best Buy during college I've seen all sorts of attempts to steal anything from a $5 flash drive to thousands of dollars worth of items. People would take laptops from the shelves, go into the appliance section, open said laptop and place it within their front waist of their pants and place the box in an oven hoping to make it out in time. We could not stop them or touch them. All we could do is approach and ask them to enter a tiny room to "talk" long enough to have the police arrive. If they resisted and ran....oh well.

We had a store let us know of a group of people who walked into a local store when the PS3 first came out and were selling out everywhere. That store had them on a display within that circle in front of the doors as soon as you walk in. A group of people walked in, went right up to them, each grabbed one, and each took off out the door.

My buddy is a manager at Best Buy. Besides people stealing you’ve got the people that come in for big game day, or the Super Bowl. They buy the most expensive TV and surround system only to return it. It’s their policy to except the return but I still feel like they are stealing. It’s just not the right thing to do. That’s why shit cost so much. Same thing with false insurance claims, everybody’s ready to sue.
