Sorry id just search this forum before pulling the trigger. There may even be coupon codes around. I swapped my headlights 3 months after buying the truck so that was years ago. I would not want to give you outdated info. Seek out some write ups and see if the swap is for you and which adapter you need. I seem to recall ihacker or headlight revolution maybe? Again verify by searching. This forum is a wealth of knowledge and helpful folks, but hone your search skills and pace yourself :)

Welcome from questionable parts of the NW(we don't have interstates or malls or Starbucks). You got the-last-of-the-line V-type Eight! Good score!

I see you have a US Air Force decal on your avatar. My 1st paycheck was from them. Not a veteran, but when I was 11, my Dad worked at an Air Force Station in Alaska and I delivered the weekly base newsletter for a year. When I was moving away, I got a check for $11.00.:woot:

That is a cool story and I had friends that went to Alaska but I spent my entire tour in the AZ desert. It was during Desert Storm and I get the veteran title and all that but I was in the wrong desert. Our fighter squadron trained pilots so I wasn't going anywhere. Though I'm about to turn 50, I sure miss those days!

Hello over there in Conroe! Day 2, I filled up the truck.:monocle: I hear there are some good places to booze it up. I haven't done that in many years. Getting old isn't fun anymore but hey I got a fancy truck to drive around in.

First off, Welcome from the Foothills of Los Angeles! This is an interesting place to hang out!
So let me get this straight, you went out to get a "People Mover" because family is coming!
You end up with a really nice, rockin, pickup? Great color too....

NICE, I LIKE THAT !!! I get distracted like that when I'm on a mission too! Ended up with some great toys because of that.

So then I'm guessing when it comes time to shuttle family around you get to put some of them in the bed?
Don't forget the tie downs!! LOL! :p

    Have fun out here!

Thanks for the welcome. We can't worry too much about the people in the bed of the truck, they got their own lights! How cool is that? Yea I needed a people mover for a week. My life changed from a 2008 Kia Optima to a 2021 Tundra SR5 4x4 . . . This truck is awesome! I've had new cough(ford) trucks in the past but I've never had a vehicle this fancy. So I only need to move 3 adults (including myself) and 2 car seats. This truck will have plenty of room for that. Then once the family has left I still have a wonderful truck. I just can't say enough.

    :bananadance:
