I love Wyoming. Not a lot of people! The wind sucks and I’m not sure what the school systems are like.

You realize that if it snows in these parts it will shutdown the highways because people can't drive right? And if the highways are shutdown every store will eventually run out of frozen chimichangas. That can't happen.

Come on down to sunny South Florida, where it was sunny and bright @ 98 degrees in the shade yesterday. They predict that we’ll have the very same weather today as well.

NO CREO! I like Fla from Nov- Mar. It's not the heat. I just can't stand the humidity. That what sucks about Qatar. The hottest day was 131° and 97% humidity.

Nope I only leave base to get gas. Other than that, I'm working 80-90 hours per week. Makes time go by really fast.

Yup, didn’t like the Middle East myself. Love the Florida sunshine and warmth though. Military injuries has forced me to live in warm climate.

Didn't like it over there is too mild. The only reason I still go is (1) I dig the mission I support. (2) I am paid to go, it pays the bill's. (3) the company I work for takes pretty good care of us. (4) the guys I work with are all solid guys.

You can't beat that. I don't like it because it what it is. It also brings back bad memories from my military days. I have been to many places over my lifetime and there are some of those places that I just do not care for. :)

Anyone live in the UP of Michigan? We are looking at 80 acres and I understand winters are a lot more harsh than Chicago, What should i expect in terms of winter length and overall conditions?

I have not seen much snow in East Texas (my kids have not seen much) I grew up in Central Missouri around the lake of the ozarks, we always got a good layer every winter. I have my 4x4 Tundra ready to go about anywhere.
