All I need is a can of chicken bones, an angry wife and a rubber band to predict the weather.

I haven't read the FA yet. My 92 yr old mother sends me one every year with Xmas package. Ahh...winter already. Didn't really need it when I was in AK for record cold/snow....I do predict Texas will have winter, then spring after that.....

No joke! You guys really do need it though. After last winter, it is amazing the entire state didn't burn to the ground this summer. I'll cross my fingers for you guys.

What tires you on? My stock Bridgestones were slippery, probably because the siping was worn too. I was good on Ridge Grapplers, KO2's are great too. Guys up north where we see snow all winter use dedicated snow tires. And what Uncle said.

I’m on stock Michelin’s. It doesn’t snow in Denver enough to run snow tires IMO. Unless I want to go out and just play I’ll drive the Subaru with snow tires I guess.

Bring it! I bought a 1300 dollar Ariens two years ago and our weak winters have it collecting dust. The one time I used it was only 4 inches of fluff and I could have shoveled. That baby blew the snow across the street and into my neighbors drive way!
Maybe I should do that this year and then offer to do their driveway for 20 bucks?
