I have been in to building trucks since i was a little kid. My first truck was a 1981 Toyota Trekker, that needed a new motor. IF you know what a trekker is you know they are cool! [IMG]
From there it went to a 1984 Toyota Extra-cab with a 3.8ltr Buick GN motor. That truck was a blast! I jumped around alot from there. Had a couple wranglers, XJ's, and fords of all types, Bmws, Mercedes, and about 7 Nissan Maximas! I love cars/trucks and i can't leave anything simple and basic.

Starting about 6 years ago i decided to but together a fabrication shop. I started buying tools, and one thing led to the next.
I started building Long-Travel off-road trucks, exo cages for crawlers, and all sorts of bumpers, sliders and just about anything i could get my hands on.
Recently i got married and tapered off the full kill builds and try to keep it to anything that doesn't involve tearing whole trucks apart...
Although I am traditionally more into full off-road pre-runner style builds, and hard core crawlers, i have also taking a liking to just a good ole adventure truck, with a splash of speed built into it.
One thing you will notice though, is if its Toyota, it gets SCS wheels. Vin is local and i love working with him and supporting his products! Plus they look amazing!

I just sold my built Trekker, and started really digging into my Tundra, Thats what landed me here...my Trekker how ever was a pretty cool rig.
Trixxie the Trekker, was my personal rock crawler, that started as a barn yard find. IT was growing quite the garden when i got it.
she is a 1981 Toyota Trekker 1 of 1500 made. She started as a simple junk yard build and was supposed to stay that way...but i don't actually have the ability to do that i guess. She gets alot of love.
    Parts list:
fj80 front axle with Hell-fire knuckles
    t100 rear axle
    dual cases
    got propane injection kit
    t3 turbo / 1yota turbo manifold
    SCS RAY 10 wheels / 35in bfg ko2 MT
4wheel underground 3 link Kit / Fox Coil overs.
All Work has been done in house..

Since i sold that truck, next up is my
    2005 Toyota Tundra dbl-cab
This truck started as my wife's truck, and after we got married i decided to take it over. [IMG] she got her white jeep xj she always wanted.
It started super stock. And has had a few different sets of SCS wheels on it and sets of shocks and suspension.

    Parts list:
Front Icon 2.5 coilovers with TC uppers.
Rear Deavers with Icon 2.5 clicker shocks.
Custom front bumper, made by me.
custom bed rack for Howling Moon RTT
and Stealth 6's with 285 series tires.

The plans for the Tundra are to make it have some more rock protection, build a better RTT rack, since the last one was built in a hurry. Id like to copy Addison's rack a bit on his Tundra. and get the wiring situated in the truck, so i have more lights and so forth, these are the old plans...i have no started in on the build with 4wd LT kit, king coil overs, dual batteries, a rear tire swing out sliders, and a new front custom bumper.

I am currently slowing down in some of my IT contract clients and picking up some more fab work. I have been working on this super nice Tacoma for a local guy. We finished the first phase of the build... Has rigid lights all over, sliders, arb's front and rear.. and a ton of other modifications. Aluminness full protection, dual battery setups with all Ctek controllers. We did all the wiring for it. Its coming back for some rear bumper modification, along with 3-4 solar panels mounted on top. This is a pretty cool truck IMHO... 60949784834284f6d284f7233e71352d_095951fff63c10f5f3100cd7d9c82fcc68f24b39.jpg804494ecebe77e2b4a332ce0895422c0_a77b81a9c02b7c86aea540fa41766367f32f0076.jpg945855beb2bc1209250b5cfbaf71ba9a_21231c31432858cd168bd996a1bc36ed05091559.jpg5be31b068d3dac2b315512bed11332a3_4b3e9df5890eaf95871a741ab4ab91846af84ae7.jpg1cdf4947f46085dd19133c9771d6fca3_bade8b1c696a32224770ff45650f1c503eda0d7f.jpg79500bdd0cccfd9735366d9acd7fee74_57f56c08a7a54f8737a06f6e35dba3f77f94fe7e.jpg

I am actually not good at tig welding.. i have a tig welder and use it for aluminum but am not by any-means "laying dimes" when i use it.. lol. im a very modest welder.. am not a machine when it comes to welding. ill try to get some good weld photos on the next few things i build.

i have a miller 252 and then a thermal arc tig welder.
I'm all self taught..and am def open to learning more techniques.. I can def mig weld decent.. but tig i am pretty new to that. i don't really offer tig welding as an option esp for customers.. until i get better unless its a small aluminum piece.
and ill tell anyone, really, welding on a table is easy, but its under the truck, with one arm or something that is the hard part....

Your good with mig, and it's quick and easy. Most of your welds are being painted I would guess. I welded a lot of tuna towers, which was anodized aluminium for the nasty salt air and water. I've been welding all my life, but I don't own 1 welder lol. The welder I want is a Miller Tig Runner, and the last time I checked it was still around 8k. Will be looking fwd to seeing your work. Thanks

Yeah it's hard enough charging what I charge, let alone if some one wanted the time for tig welding.... I like it and it def has its place. But on the stuff I do it rarely ever is needed.. I'm proficient with a mig, but will def keep learning tig, the more I tig, the better mig welder I become as well. I am looking forward to getting some more work done on the tundra, I just picked up a HD finger press break... been needing one of those forrrrr ever!!!!!Pro

That's a sweet rig too, but I think the Trekker is definitely sweeter! (cause it's a yota)
