Ok, you guys are going to jinx me but I have never had a flat that I had to change the spare on the trail. That is my truck, I have done it for others.

Walk up, flip the handle on the ratchet strap all the way back and POP she comes loose. Reach in and set all the stuff in the center off to the side. Tire is right there ready for use. I have done that a lot making changes in the rear and 5 tire rotation

EDIT: SHIT! I forgot about the gas cans. They are only in there and most of the other stuff only when I am headed out.

When we travel we always have the girls (our rescues) in the back seat and along the ride there are breaks required for the dogs to take a break. They are always with so ready access at the tailgate is priority one with the BakFlip covering everything. That makes the stops to stretch, potty and eat quick and easy. Water, dogs bag and cooler at the ready

Installed an OVS Scar 12s winch from Hotshot Offroad yesterday/last night. Seems like a good quality product, especially at the price point of sub $600. It’s definitely a tight fit with the OEM transmission cooler, but a little shimming and shoving got me the clearance I needed.

What change did you get in the front end after install? Not sure what you have for the front end shocks but curious

It was already sitting a little low and is on the docket for a fix shortly, so I didn’t bother to take measurements before and after. Once I added the front bumper, the Icon 2.5s were holding the front a little lower than I wanted. Heavier coils are en route from @memario1214 and should get me squared away.

Heavier coils fr an Icon lift?? I have been on Icon for a while now trying to get a stiffer spring up front but they said that is not an option they provide. Talking to others I was told that springs have broken after replaced on the Icons’. I asked what the cause was and never got a good answer.

Very interested in this and disappointed I could not find the info I have been looking for

Apparently they don’t offer a heavier spring, but Eibachs work just fine. Colton did the napkin math and the 650# 3” lift springs should do the job for me.

Check the build link in my signature.
I like that. I’d have to tear my front apart to get it in there though…the only time I ever want to pull that setup apart is if I’m switching to a full bumper…

Thoon and wherever. Looks like the springs for my shocks get here tomorrow, so I'm hoping to get those installed this weekend. Labor Day run?

We can meet in Apache Junction and run the Apache trail to the 188. Then you can decide if you want to highway back or go over Four Peaks. We should probably pull the wake boat and play on the water a couple hours…

As long as JR gets to mess with the swamp cooler switches!
Na, I think it will be a multi day project. I have to drill out the spot welds on my current cam tabs, and bust them off, prep that surface to weld on the new octagon tabs, drill and tap the new LCA for zerks, and hope to eye ball my alignment enough to drive it a few miles so it can get straightened out.

I love having extra hardware at the end! Then I have more bolts when I lose some on the next project

He totally did the same thing to me again when I was cleaning out the shed a few weeks ago. Loves to turn the swing gates and turn off the pump. Little dickhead.
