Oh I thought you were talking about actually cleaning up your existing posts on your thread lol. And throwing shade on my clusterfuck that exists here.

 

Nope. I’ve got my share of messes and they just happy accidents. Your clusterfuck just gives us something to talk shit about. I’ve bookmarked the ideas I’m stealing until I actually incorporate them into my build…then they’ll get hyperlinked.

 

Switched my chase light mounts to some actual bed rail brackets. The CaliRaised mounts I used worked ok, but they aren’t quite tall enough for use with unistrut bed rails. They probably work fine with an OEM system. I had to flip the bolts but I got them to work.


Swapped the outer lenses on my bars to driving pattern ambers. I had clear on the hood bar and flood amber on the bumper bar. These should throw much more light. I also removed the grille from the bulge and used some nut clips and 1/4” bolts to secure the bulge to the hood a little better.

 

Are those all christmas totes?

 

But yes. And that’s actually way pared down from what she used to have.

 

Do you need REAL oem rails?

 

That's been pretty low on the list. I do need to refinish/clean up my unistrut ones, though.

Finally got rid of the boat anchor of a bumper! I was able to road trip over to meet up with @Squatting Pigeon and pick up his old bumper. RIP Blueberry Cobbler. I don’t like how it happened, but I’m excited to be able to keep BBC’s legacy going…

The 7.5 hour drive each way was a bitch. Rain and sleet the whole way driving east, and a shitload of snow trying to get home. Was well worth the trip though.


Also picked up @AZBoatHauler’s bumper from @STravis


Once I got home and had some free time, I cut out the nanny mounts since I don’t have those, then primed and painted it.





After a quick test fit, I trimmed the fenders and she’s good to go.

 

And you still haven’t sent me your Venmo.
