    Yep, you could also get it with out the NMO and add your own provisions/cam etc. Would take some work but possible

    For me the cams would be way more useful than the chase/reverse lights, at least until I pull the trigger on the BlackVue system I have in my cart (glad I'm in a place I don't have to explain my spending problem). Worth a convo with Evil Offroad I suppose.

    yup, but high mounted “stealth” antennas are a great compromise (about 1-3 mi in some decent brushy situations @5 watts, guessing a bit more at higher power or wide open areas) for those low bridge scenarios. I still need to get my hands on some 1/2 wave wideband VHF and UHF whip antennae for much larger reach. For what we do, I’m pretty content..YMMV

    This is the motor I have that they retrofitted to fit onto the third brake light. You’re an IT dude so no doubt you could CAD up a spacer to go between the brake light housing and glass. Not the prettiest thing but at least you could go under overpasses and contend with @BiggHertz :duel:

    My project for today… maybe depends on what I find after our 170 mile round trip through the desert

    Wanted to be able to hold all the needed tools/recovery etc.. in front of the tire area to leave the rest of the bed to cooler, clothes, etc. when traveling. I just want them secure bouncing around the trails. I am going to make this from plywood (unless someone has a better material) I guess and have my straps X’d across the front. Should work
