The only thing I dislike about the 3rd gen Tundra

First time I came to a steep descent towing a 5,000 pound toy hauler, the transmission automatically down shifted to provide additional braking. I don't know how it was detected, maybe from the amount of braking? Anyway, I thought something was wrong with the truck, so I stopped at the base of the descent to shut it down and restart. Only happened that one time and haven't been in a similar situation yet.

I like when an owner paints the bumper below the grill to match the rest of the truck.

 

I'm a fan of the looks and styling of my Tundra. I don't necessarily like the chrome but soon enough will try to either colour match it or possibly do a matte black finish on it to match the badging on the truck.

I haven't seen anyone black things out, anyone out there tried this yet?

 

Depending on the chrome, the dark (smoked) chrome looks good with body colored matched everything else.

To this with Mustache and Tundra lower trim and Toyota emblem - body color matched:

To trading in for this Platinum, (plan to maybe black out the Toyota emblem) else leave stock:
