I'd totally drive that if it was a TDI manual.

The website of the builder is right on the door in the pic and they do these as their thing evidently?!

Not terrible for the truly terrible idea they are either.

    I kind of like it.

Thinking back about 25 years and wishing I had some photos of my ‘68 Skylark someone very lovingly repainted in a beautiful violet purple using an airless sprayer and house paint.

Paid $350 for that car - which was just about scale weight value of the scrap. It ran and had a 4 barrel 350 in it - bought it solely for the engine - opened the hood and found 2 fuel lines plugged with wood screws - presumably in the name of fuel efficiency.

Man that car was a beast though half a day of messing with it and it sounded great. Wound up selling it for a grand I think a month later on payments to someone who needed a ride. 400 down and 50 a week…received exactly 1 payment till the dumbass playing with it managed to set it on fire “tuning it up” - never knew exactly how flammable dried Bondo was until seeing that car and what remained.

Actually thinking back - that might have been the exact moment in my life I took an interest in trashed cars. Funny the things that you can turn into a career.

Shit, wish I would have seen this thread a few days ago when my mother-in-law was in town. She buys vehicles "based on whether they're cute or not". Naturally, she drives a Kia Soul with eyelashes and christmas light stickers down the exterior roof line. Yes, the interior is also covered in dog hair from the pug, chiuahua and sub-20lb mongrel she brings everywhere with her.

I never understood the purpose of that. I'm sure the mileage of those tires is like 10K before having to replace with new ones.

I was just asking my buddy about that. I guess .5 to 1 deg neg camber can have some performance effect with the right setup. That there is just for looks, poor performance and tire wear.

Out of the things people do to their cars/trucks, this is the least wtf to me. I don’t hate it. Mine stick out a little, and on a lift it looks better. I can’t stand lifted trucks with the tires tucked inside the wheel well.

Snapped a photo of this at my local Sam’s club. Downforce on the trucks cab helps with traction in 4x4. 385DACFD-FF11-45F1-93FC-1D23E331510D.jpg

Oh I have a few rock chips on my lower panels. But it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
