It was bullshit in 2012 when a Philly Phan did it after the Winter Classic & it's bullshit today. I agree and hope he gets what he deserves.

Thats just awful. Glad to hear MSG took action and banned him for life. How would they even track that though? A buddy buys his ticket and they'll never question who he is, unless they've got some facial recognition thing. But 18K people per game, for 41 to like 50 games a year, how would you actually catch him on a random Tuesday night, 3 or 6 or 20 years from now? I'm guessing they can then take legal action if he's caught...so it may be too much of a risk for him. I dunno, I've never gotten banned from a place of business before. Other than a Friendlys restaurant in NJ when I was a teenager....and it wasn't my fault. I swear.

 

That Tampa fan got knocked the F out and probably had it coming. I’m not condoning in any way. But, the 24 oz Bud light in his hand (probably his 5th) coupled with his dumb ass talking shit directly behind a pissed off Rangers fan lead to him getting cold cocked. If you are going to put yourself in that position you better be prepared for someone to potentially snap.

 

Potentially snapping is someone turning around and telling you to 'shut up, win with grace', not sucker punching.

 

I use the word snap in many situations. Not just turning around and “yelling” please stop you’re hurting my feelings. How about came unhinged?

Either way, if you’re going to talk a bunch of shit to someone with high emotions flowing you should prepare for them to respond. And we all know there’s many people on the edge and it’s hard telling how they respond.

Rangers have a great young team with a lot of talent that will be a threat for years to come if management can keep everything together. It was an amazing game and beyond happy that the Bolts are on their way to a hopefully 3rd cup in a row. Avs are a very fast paced team but what I have seen in their series played this post season is lacking defense nor playing against a goalie like Vasy combined with our players willing to sacrifice themselves for shot blocks. It will be a great series and am looking forward to it

 

Rangers did not lose 4 in a row all season (until the ECF Finals)

On the bright side, I can now enjoy the games not caring who wins.

 

The Avs defense is top notch. They eliminated the Oilers top line. They have three lines of stout and potent D. The goal tending is somewhat of a question mark. Although Kuemper was a top 10 goalie this year.

 

I'm rooting Avs, sorry in advance if they lose as I am a jinx.

 

I think you may have homer glasses on there, Avs D is very good at puck moving but as far as shutdown they're ok - certainly not near Tampa in that area. Connor scoring 3G and 4A and Leon having 6A (and couldn't barely stand on his one foot) is hardly being eliminated. That line and Hymen were the only reason each game wasn't 5-1 Avs.

The Avs are a damn good team, but they're defense and goaltending is decent, far different than Tampa which has the best D and goalie in the league.

 

Homer glasses? Statistically, they are a top 10 D (three behind Tampa in the regular season) and 4th in the playoffs. I’ll consider that a stout D.

I’ll have to disagree. Except for one thing. Their goaltending is the weak link. Tampa has a huge advantage between the pipes and could easily hoist another cup on the back of Andrei V. He is on another level.
I have no concerns with the Avs D. I take nothing away from Tampa. They are a power packed team and beating them in the series will take everything the AVs have.
